Accountants graduate memorizing the standard without knowing what the document looks like. In practice, documents arrive at different times, differences appear, reconciliations are demanded, and work comes back after review. The gap is not knowledge — it is between knowledge and execution.
The answer: a firm that practices the craft and teaches it with the same tools
ORIX is an accounting firm that teaches: we do not start the explanation from a slide, but from the task the accountant needs to finish — a file, a document, a decision, an entry, then review.
The loop
Practice feeds training with live models and current regulations; training disciplines practice with a documented, reviewed method. An academy builds the skill, services test it in reality, tools reduce the error, and a library keeps the reference.
Our principles
- What we do not practice, we do not teach.
- Every figure is supported by a source and a reviewable assumption.
- The document before the entry, and the entry before the statement.
- We claim no accreditation and dress up no figures.
The name and the mark
The name comes from the Arabian oryx: precision, endurance, authenticity. The mark — The X — is two crossed horns, navy and azure: practice and teaching intersecting at one point.
What we do not do
- We do not sell accredited certificates — the completion certificate describes what you actually did.
- We do not promise employment.
- We do not publish numbers or ratings we do not have.
